The first step is to get to know the diversity of bees dwelling with us in the territory. Also, it is important to offer bees food, filling our gardens with flowers!  However, not all flowering plants are visited by bees. Below there is a list of flowering plants visited by bees in Anolaima, and a poster with additional suggestions to help the bees (although in Spanish. Soon in English!). Meanwhile, you can check the website of the Department of Entomology at Michigan State University and their Vimeo website to find out how people in the US help their bees.
